広島県神石高原町と株式会社HERE.は、2022年よりXRを用いたデジタルコンテンツをつくれる地域人材の育成を目指し「神石高原XRスクール」を開講しています。
2025年2月16日（日）、学生たちが1年間の学びをいかして開発したコンテンツを披露する「神石高原XRスクール成果発表会」を開催しました。
町内イベント「さんわフリマ」内で、町内の県立油木高校の生徒を中心としたXRスクール生が制作したオリジナル作品の他、
第3期となる今回は初めての試みとして、神石高原町のメタバースワールド「JINSEKI META PARK」をVRchat上に制作しました。
雲海や、風に揺れる木々や煌めくホタルなど美しい景色を眺めながら思い思いの時間を過ごすことができるほか、島を探検しながら神石高原XRスクールのオリジナルコンテンツや町の魅力を見つけることができます。
授業で学んだBlenderやAIを使い、みんなで協力しながら制作した「JINSEKI META PARK」をお披露目し、老若男女問わず、たくさんの地域の方に楽しんでいただくことができました。
また、神石高原町の魅力に最新技術を掛け合わせ、現実の世界を超えて町の現在と未来を表現した迫力あふれる作品をたくさんの地域の方に体験していただきXRの可能性に触れていただく機会にもなりました。

The city of Jinsekikougen-cho, Hiroshima Prefecture, and HERE. have been offering the Jinsekikogen XR School since 2022, with the aim of developing local human resources capable of creating digital content using XR.
On 16 February 2025, the “Jinsekikogen XR School Results Presentation” was held, where students presented the content they had developed using their year-long learning experience.
The event was held as part of the city’s “Sanwa Frima” event, and featured original works created by XR School students, mainly from the city’s Yuraki Prefectural High School,
In this third term of the school, the first attempt was made to create JINSEKI META PARK, a metaverse world of the city of Jinsekikoogen, on VRchat.
Using Blender and AI learned in class, everyone worked together to create the JINSEKI META PARK, which was unveiled and enjoyed by many local people of all ages and both sexes.
It was also an opportunity for many local people to experience the possibilities of XR, a powerful work that expresses the present and future of the city beyond the real world by combining the charm of Jinseki Kogen with the latest technology.
